Project Brief
Our client is a startup that has developed a non-invasive device to measure intra-cardiac filling pressure. The device monitors the worsening condition of heart failure patients before onset of symptoms, facilitating proactive treatment to prevent repeat admissions to the emergency room. The device is able to accurately capture signals from micro-vibrations induced by blood flow into the heart. These high-quality signals enable the device to examine blood-flow, muscle performance and abnormalities in the heart. The device can be used at point-of-care, including in the hospital, in outpatient settings, or by caretakers in nursing homes.
VentureBlick is involved in a preliminary study to help the company ascertain its potential in specific markets. This study will involve medical validation based on input from VentureBlick experts via an in-depth questionnaire that selected experts will answer. The results will be compiled into a report for the client.
Selected experts will not be identified individually – only their country and specialty will be made known. In addition, the report will be proprietary, and exclusively available only to the client.
