Project Brief 

The startup is offering a device that provides radiation therapy via an upright patient positioning system, aiming to enhance patient comfort, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness. Their solution integrates an upright positioning system with dual-energy diagnostic CT imaging. This design minimizes motion during therapy, improving the efficiency of radiation delivery. The system is designed to address various cancers, including head and neck, breast, liver, lung, and prostate

VentureBlick is involved in a preliminary study to help the client ascertain the potential of the startup in the Indian market. This study will involve due diligence based on input from VentureBlick experts via an in-depth questionnaire. The results will be compiled into a report for the client.

Selected advisors will not be identified individually – only their city and specialty will be made known. In addition, the report will be proprietary, and exclusively available only to the client. 

ADVISORS NEEDED 

• Region: India

• Medical expert specialties: Radiation Oncologists, Medical Oncologists, Surgical Oncologists with experience in Radiation Therapy or managing them by Chemotherapy. 

• Industry expert specialties: Commercialization of Capital equipment for Radiation Therapy​, Management of Tertiary care private hospitals.

• Experts should ideally have at least 10 years of experience in their field.

Work Required 

• Review: A comprehensive background document on the startup and its solution. 

• Survey Completion: Provide detailed responses to approximately 30 multiple-choice and open-ended questions. 

• Estimated time commitment: Approximately 1 hour.
