What We're Looking For:
Salivary Diagnostics: Use of saliva as a non-invasive medium to detect biomarkers that monitor and diagnose oral health conditions and potentially indicate other systemic health issues.
Visual Diagnostics: Digital imaging tools (e.g., X-rays, intraoral scans) for specialists to assess and identify dental conditions, such as cavities and gum disease. Solutions may be designed for both consumers and specialists to help prevent, manage, or support health conditions.
The Challenge:
Despite the availability of specialist and therapeutic products, consumer awareness and understanding of oral health conditions remain limited. We are seeking accessible, non-invasive diagnostics and digital tools that empower both consumers and specialists to improve health outcomes and encourage proactive oral care.
Requirements & Key Success Criteria
Non-Prescription Focus: Solutions should ideally prioritise non-prescription therapeutic options adaptable for consumer use.
Scalability and Accessibility: Low-cost, easily accessible technologies that leverage widely available devices like smartphones and wearables.
Scientific Credibility: Built on validated, evidence-based science of each of the four focus areas.
