FAQ:

Why apply?

Singapore startups enrolled in the Super Incubator will enjoy a full suite of incubation and acceleration services that are tailored according to their needs, but heavily subsidised to reduce the barriers of entry. This is not for-profit – our aim here is to support key government initiatives while building connections with the local community, so our goals are aligned with your startup’s success.

Why work with VentureBlick?

We have a successful track record of helping startups to scale, then taking them global. This is recognised globally. In Singapore, we are one of the only two medtech accelerators officially appointed by the Singapore government. In South Korea, we have been granted the Accelerator License by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups of Korea, and are the only healthcare accelerator for the Korea government’s Global Market Expansion Program.

VentureBlick offers various in-house and external resources. Our VB Advisory Network comprises over 4,000 clinicians and healthcare industry experts – each individually vetted – whom we leverage on for expert insights into every aspect of healthcare innovation. On the other side of the fence, we work with major corporates from Fortune 100 healthcare companies to major investment VCs and CVCs in areas such as due diligence and tech scouting. Our team consists of veterans across healthcare’s different functions, and we are located across 5 key markets: Singapore, South Korea, India, China, and Germany. In the past 18 months, we have already raised over US$10 million for 5 startups and helped to commercialise two startups’ products in overseas markets.

What are the charges for joining the Super Incubator?

The bulk of services are provided at cost, and covered by grants received by VentureBlick. Startups enrolled in programme need only to pay a nominal fee, whether in terms of a service fee (US$15,000) or equity in exchange for incubation services (via a US$50,000 SAFE note).

How long is this incubation programme?

VentureBlick’s Super Incubator programme does not have a fixed timeline or “graduation” date. Rather, we aim to work with incubated startups until exit. We prefer a long-term arrangement, as taking the long view on things allows us to support our partners more holistically.
