Germany/Europe-Based Mentors Needed: REHACARE 2025

Overview

VentureBlick is seeking healthcare and industry professionals to serve as Mentors for Korean startups at REHACARE 2025. 

This initiative will support four high-potential startups developing advanced rehabilitation and healthcare solutions. The program is designed to accelerate their entry into Germany and the wider European market, by providing guidance, market insights, and connections to key stakeholders.

 

Your Role as a Mentor

  • Participate in one virtual meeting with your assigned startup, prior to REHACARE, to offer market insights, strategic advice, and align on target stakeholders.

  • Facilitate and attend at least two B2B meetings during REHACARE (17-20 September) while the startup is in Germany.

 

Ideal Advisor Profile

We are looking for professionals with expertise in:

  • Pressure Ulcer Prevention & Elder Care

    • Background in medical devices, rehabilitation, and long-term care.

    • Experience with elderly care equipment distribution, hospital procurement, and certification/validation processes in Europe.

  • AI-Powered Hearing Systems & Digital Health Accessibility

    • Expertise in audiology, rehabilitation, or digital health technologies (e.g., hearing aids, voice recognition, hearing loop systems).

    • Familiarity with reimbursement/adoption in EU markets.

    • Connections to distributors, hospitals, and accessibility associations.

  • Cognitive Therapy & Dementia Management

    • Clinical or research background in dementia care, cognitive therapy, or digital therapeutics.

    • Experience with elderly digital adoption, prevention programs, and networks with senior care facilities and public health authorities.

  • Public Infrastructure & Accessibility Policy

    • Knowledge of accessibility regulations, pilot programs, and procurement models in healthcare and urban transport.

    • Experience engaging with government authorities, disability associations, and public infrastructure operators in Europe.

 

Please note:

This is a paid advisory project.The compensation will be finalized based on initial discussion and mutual agreement with selected mentors.
